Artistic Licence or Painter's Fantasy
PhotoStudio, eight hours.
April 2007

What does a painter dream about when he paints a model?
I used the stock photo FloorDress4 from eurasianrose86 as reference.

Sir Jerry Lone was so pleased by this idea that he made his interpretation in 3D here!

And one from August 2008 [link] by carmag34.

Yup, had the same ideas myself... Good job!
Eh eh... très bon... et tellement vrai... ^^
Awesome!!! ^^

Nice pic! That's just what I would think if I was the painter!
That's what I call an artist with his own vision of the world. Jmjm.
Excellent, I specially like the realistic details in the original model (although the bound is a more fun version >: J).

This is pretty funny! I'm sure at the end, our dirtyl little artist will wave it off as, "Oh, it's nothing, you don't need to see it...er, I messed up."

Messed up indeed. Messed up good.

Everything human in this picture is really accurate and clean, and the unification of elements is very good--I just wish they didn't look like they were floating.

Floating? Why do you think that? I let all elements overlap each other, so that they would make one. One is supposed to look out of the eyes of the painter: we see what he sees, including his hands.

Talking about the hands: my wife said that she doesn't hold her brush like that when she paints, only when she sketches...
Floating, as in, the model looks like she's hanging space above the bed rather than lying on it, and the bed really isn't secured to any sort of floor, just a gradient background.

For the model solution, maybe it's just something as simple as adding some implying wrinkles on the sheets and giving her a shadow.

If you love somthing let it go free. If it doesn't come back, you never had it. If it comes back, love it forever.
