Artist's Comments

PhotoStudio, about ten hours.
April 2008.

This was definitely inspired by this work: [link] by ~PACross
I spent a lot of time on the reflection, as PhotoStudio crashed a few times for lack of memory, while I tried different orientations. So finally I reflected a smaller image and then increased the size again.

Photo reference for the lady.

Whohooo! That's definitely something new for you, isn't it?
I'm not personally very fond of handcuffs and chains, but your work is remarkable. :)
Good work on the reflection, too.

I normally am pretty old-fashioned in what I like to see in bondage, but I admit I was pretty impressed with what you created here with the chains.

it's a nice piece, i really love the mirror shiny quality to her clothing you did a great job with that. I've always wanted to see the source images you're using for reference. I like how you rendered the skin, it's really smooth, but part of it seem muddy, as in the values are the same around the limbs, i think with the degree of tonal change in the clothing you could also push the shadows for her arms and legs like you did with her left knee and part of her back. The mirror reflection, absolutely defies everything i know about physics. I used her body positioning and the shadow you placed, as a guide to figure out the perspective of the shot. For this particular angle to the floor, her reflection should be smaller and more skewed toward her body. If she was leaning toward us it would be bigger. The way it is right now gives the idea that we're at floor level looking at her, but from the pose we are clearly at a higher vantage point. I really would like to see the image you referenced off of Mr. Corde.
